Pixel art is typically exported at a larger scale than the original grid to make individual pixels clearly visible. 1× scale exports the raw pixel grid (e.g., 16×16 px) — useful for programmatic use. 4× scale produces a 64×64 or 128×128 image — good for web icons. 8× scale is the most common choice for game sprites and social media avatars. 16× scale produces large, print-quality images — a 32×32 pixel art piece becomes a 512×512 PNG. All exports use a transparent background so you can layer the pixel art over any background color or image.
